Lightweighting is a worthy investment, as the new research project “PoKoGeLe” shows. The project took a close look at actual lightweighting application implemented by industry partners – including WILHELM BAHMÜLLER Maschinenbau Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH. Thanks to the lightweighting measurce, production costs coud be reduced by 25 percent and the cut the mass of moving parts in the machines could be cut by more than 40 percent and the machines now have faster cycle times and consume less energy.  More Information
